Digital Day 2020 (Digitaltag 2020) – Creating Digitalisation together

This year's nationwide Digital Day with the motto "Creating Digitalisation together" will take place on 19 June 2020. Every year, the Action Day offers the opportunity to experience the diversity of digitalisation.

The Distance and Independent Studies Center (DISC) also contributes to this:

In a podcast, Dr. Nadine Bondorf (DISC management), Monika Haberer (head of the Self-directed Learning and eLearning department) as well as Alexander Bruns (head of the Management & Law department) will talk about the challenges of distance learning and discuss the possible potential of digitalisation. In a lively discussion, the audience will be introduced to the sustainable design of distance learning at DISC. You can find the podcast here.

Additionally, the DISC offers the Kaiserslautern Open Online Course (KLOOC) with the topic "Entrepreneurship & Innovation Management" as part of the action program of the Digital Day 2020. The course aims to look at entrepreneurship in the context of digitalisation and to transfer new knowledge to the own business idea. You can find further information here.

In addition, these actions of the DISC and other cooperation partners are still waiting for you:

The SME 4.0 Competence Center Kaiserslautern (Mittelstand 4.0-Kompetenzzentrum Kaiserslautern) and the engineering 4.0-Lab of the Open Digitalisation Alliance Palatinate (engineering 4.0-Lab der Offenen Digitalisierungsallianz Pfalz) offer you the opportunity to learn more about smart product development in a webinar on the digitalisation of business and innovation. Interested parties can find more information here.

The Technische Universität Kaiserslautern together with the Open Digitalisation Alliance Palatinate invite you to the "Digital Café for Future Creators". In a virtual dialogue, the digitalisation of education is addressed and the potential of digital worksheets for teaching is analysed in an interactive environment. You can find an overview here.

The Immersive Quantified Learning Lab (iQL-Lab) also provides insights into the "classroom of the future" and presents future technologies of the teaching-learning scenario. Here you get a first impression.

The DISC wishes all interested parties, participants as well as partners of the initiative an inspiring exchange!
