KLOOC on the topic of "Sustainability”
For the seventh time in a row, the Kaiserslautern Open Online Course (KLOOC) will once again focus on the topic of "Sustainability" this summer semester. From May 3rd to July 4th 2021, students of the Technische Universität Kaiserslautern (TUK) as well as anyone interested in this topic can join in as sustainability is examined and presented through various disciplines.
Based on current problems such as resource scarcity, environmental pollution, financial and climate crises, the online course shows how people can act more sustainably in their living and working environments and what specific solution concepts the TUK is working on.
The course is offered by the Distance and Independent Studies Center in cooperation with the department of Sustainability Management as well as the departments of Economics, Mechanical and Process Engineering, Architecture, Electrical Engineering and Information Technology, Regional and Environmental Planning, as well as Social Sciences.
For students in some presence or distance learning programmes, participation can be credited in form of credit points.
Further information on registration and credit possibilities can be found here.
