DISC online area – password-protected area

Accessing the online campus

The online campus is the main port of call for all students enrolled in distance learning programmes.

Each degree programme has its own virtual (password-protected) learning environment in the online campus where students can access all relevant information on procedures and organisation of the courses (dates, requirements, enrolment, etc.) as well as learning materials. Furthermore, our online campus also provides students with the opportunity to communicate with other students (via numerous different channels).

Here at DISC, we use the TU Kaiserslautern's leading learning environment OpenOLAT that all students can conveniently access via their Computing Center accounts.

Staying in touch

This group is primarily aimed at graduates of distance learning courses from the DISC at the Technical University of Kaiserslautern who are keen to stay or get back in touch and exchange information. Registered distance learning students, as well as those interested in taking a distance learning degree and seeking information on the Technical University's offering or wishing to get in touch with graduates and students, are also welcome. To become a member of the DISC's alumni group, you need to register with Xing. Registration is free of charge.
